News
The Irn Bruooch is made using a repurposed can of IRN-BRU together with platinum.

It was conceived and developed through research and experimentation during the latter stages of lockdown.

As a lecturer, Lamb found the restrictions imposed by Covid19 presented huge challenges for his students and his teaching. Lamb was enormously impressed by the creativity and innovative ways in which students embraced projects, especially in the use of alternative or sustainable materials & found objects. This was inspirational and reminded him of the potential and joy of working in different ways, and breaking through his own ‘creative block’ by exploring unusual material qualities.

This piece won the gold Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council award in 2023.
